mind you, there's still the upstairs! :PGood News Singapore was off the hook!
if you guys were wondering, which many of you are. (:
i know its very long, but you wanted to know about GNS, so you better read! :D
one word. it was seriously awesome. and i meant it. for those who didn't come, i hope you are regretting now, :P, not to be mean, but it was really gooood! :D
on the first night, we went to kallang by train. we had counselling duty, so we had to be there early. there was even a chartered SMRT public bus for the event. like how cool is that! having an official bus provided. nice! well, it was raining for the three days, but who cares, many people still came. (: you should see it for yourself, just that i didn't take photographs. there was 817 salvations on the first night! people literally flooded the altar area.
before the whole thing start, there was quite some time and i didn't have ushering, so we do not need to stand in positions. i went to play with nicholas, he's adorable, but he kept, nooo-ing me. T.T. the day ended of late, we went home late, but satisfied. (: there's this cool drink called 'Rosbacher Drive/Sport' provided for us. it's nice, and free for people with admission passes. haha, and i have an admission pass. (: (:
on the second night, we had ushering, so we had to go early, and stand in positions from 6pm-8pm. my back was aching by then. we ate our dinner provided, took rosbacher drinks hahah. then stood in position. haha, hillary was like at the other side ushering, which the other side was quite empty. she called me a few times, i didn't hear her. XD haha, of course i recognized you! :D later, the service, it was very good. (: when Reinhard Bonnke called the call for people to accept Christ, there were manyyy people again. just that i don't know the numbers, but its alot still. (: angels in heaven rejoice at the salvation of one soul, what more hundreds. :) it was really a touching sight. especially after the miracle healing session. we see miracles happen right before our eyes, what more prove can you get. its like a living walking testimony, its right there before your eyes. how exciting can it be! seeing even the wheelchair bound people, getting up from the wheelchairs and walking up to stage to testify. it was real real real real real cool to see the works of God. the miracles he has done. i am glad i serve such a great God! :D
on the third day, we took the early bus for workers. it was a special sunday celebration, sort of a normal service, with cool stuff and more people. we went early, signing up etc, before getting into position. PLANETSHAKERS was AWESOMEEEE! omword. so coool! i love their songs, its so meaningful and catchy. haha. its just nice. nice. nice! morning service, we had to stand in for duty, so we couldn't like go infront. ): but i still enjoyed the worship. (: later went to sit with charissa. Reinhard Bonnke's sermons are interesting. DESIRE FOR FIRE!!! :D ahah. after service, we left the SIS for leisure park or shopping centre. ehh. i forget. but it's a shopping centre. we went to have our lunch there, i got chicken cutlet. (: we wanted to play murderer again, but apparently, there was no proper place for us to play. when we found one, we are like forbidded to play there. later we went to the arcade, while seraphine taught me maths in a small little truck like thingy, where the machine inside was spoiled. thanks seraphine! :D we wanted to like play a trick on bryan, we were supposed to stand around him, then went given the signal, squat. but it didn't work well. bryan was very suspicious and started walking away fast. we later went back for ushering.
the sunday night service. ushering, ate dinner provided, went for duty. this time, we got to go infront! because of the overwhelming responses from the youths, our youth pastor allowed us to go infront. yay! went back, felt super tired, after a whole long day. charis is so adorable, she showed me her cool shades haha. and her colouring book. (:(:(: later miracle healing, as usual, there were many souls wanting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. (: the sight is just amazing. serious. the last night's testimonies were so touching. there's was one where this lady who totally cannot walk, she ran around the stage that very night. its all because of God's works. its so touching that it would also be led to tears. the last night, to me, i think was the best, with great testimonies and all. God's so real, we see the lame walk, lumps gone, long time back pains healed and many more. what more else? our God is so powerful, and it is very evident right there. (:
